A wallet prompt is a structured instruction, not a generic confirmation

Ethereum transactions can transfer ETH, deploy code or execute a contract. A confirmation screen that shows only a familiar logo or a total fiat value hides the fields that determine what will actually happen. Before signing, identify the sending account, destination, chain, value, input data, nonce and fee ceiling. A token transfer may place the token recipient inside contract calldata while the transaction's direct destination is the token contract, so the reviewer must understand the action the wallet decoded rather than relying on one address label. This is a verification and record-keeping method, not a prediction, payment instruction or promise about account access.

Ethereum.org defines transaction fields and the lifecycle from signature and broadcast to block inclusion and finality. It does not authenticate a merchant or guarantee that a wallet decodes every contract safely. This signing sheet is for inspection and evidence, not for bypassing wallet warnings or interacting with an unsupported contract. A current authenticated payment instruction and verified wallet interface must supply the transaction context. A useful reading keeps the publication date, jurisdiction, product and unresolved questions visible instead of turning a narrow source into a universal claim.

Name the transaction type and chain

The chain and action determine which fields must match the intended instruction. The observable evidence is that an ETH transfer, contract call and token transfer can show different destination and data patterns even when the user describes each as a payment.

Write the network and decoded action before comparing addresses or amounts. The working record should include chain ID or network label, action type, wallet version, request origin, asset and invoice. Cancel when the wallet cannot decode an unexpected contract interaction.

Compare sender, destination and value

Begin with what can be checked: The from field identifies the signing account, the to field receives ETH or executes code, and value carries native currency. A token call can use zero native value while moving tokens through input data, so one field cannot describe the whole payment.

Match the sender to the selected wallet and compare the decoded recipient and amount with the invoice. Preserve sender, direct destination, decoded token recipient, native value, token amount and comparison result, and apply this stop rule: Do not sign when the recipient exists only in an unexplained data blob.

Inspect nonce and replacement context

The nonce orders transactions from one account and a new transaction using the same nonce can replace a pending one under wallet rules. That distinction matters because a repeated invoice can therefore produce a replacement or a separate payment depending on the fields used.

Record the proposed nonce and any pending transaction before authorizing a speed-up or retry. A reviewer should be able to see nonce, pending ID, proposed ID, output comparison, wallet method and status. Never create a second intended payment merely because the first remains pending.

Treat gas settings as a ceiling

The maximum displayed debit is not necessarily the final fee and is not value credited to the recipient. For this review, gas limit and maximum fee fields bound computation cost, while unused gas and the final effective price affect the actual receipt.

Separate recipient value from the gas ceiling and decide whether the complete maximum fits the spending plan. Note gas limit, max fee, priority fee, estimated total, recipient value and budget decision. Cancel when the fee ceiling would require essential or borrowed money.

Use the receipt to determine execution

After inclusion, the receipt reports status and gas use, while logs can support the token movement that the user intended. A transaction hash alone does not prove a contract call succeeded or that a service credited it.

Record receipt status, relevant event and confirmations, then reconcile the receiving account separately. Record transaction hash, block, status, gas used, decoded event, account credit and case number. Do not retry a reverted or mismatched call until the cause is understood.

Use the source for the claim it can actually support

Ethereum.org lists the sender, destination, signature, nonce, value, input data and fee fields carried by transactions and explains the path from broadcast through inclusion and finality. That structure supports a pre-signing sheet and a post-execution receipt check. It also shows why a contract call cannot be reviewed as though every payment were a simple native-currency transfer.

The documentation is technical and does not verify a specific contract, wallet decoder or SignalBet route. Wallet interfaces can omit or simplify fields. Users should use verified software, authenticated receiving instructions and qualified help when calldata or contract behavior is unclear. A valid signature authorizes the transaction; it does not prove the destination was wise or supported. The source cannot authenticate a private message, approve a payment route, decide a customer dispute or replace the current rules that apply in the reader's location. Recheck changing dates, interfaces and availability at the official origin before acting.

Close the review with a decision record

The signing sheet records chain, action type, request origin, sender, direct destination, decoded recipient, native and token values, nonce, pending context, gas ceiling and budget decision. The final section records transaction hash, receipt status, gas used, relevant event and account credit. No private key, seed phrase or raw signing secret is stored.

SignalBet is for adults 18+ only where lawful. A technically valid Ethereum transaction cannot make gambling profitable or repair losses. Include the maximum network cost inside a fixed disposable-money limit, never borrow or chase a pending credit, and stop payments and play when the decoded action does not match the plan.

SignalBet Guide keeps related safeguards in the responsible-play centre, sourcing standards in the editorial policy and practical explainers in the guide library. Those pages add context without replacing the named external source or current local law.
