Separate bonus funds from deposit money before a withdrawal
A promotion-literacy worksheet for distinguishing restricted bonus balance, remaining deposit, winnings and stated withdrawal conditions.

Do not let one displayed balance hide different rights
A promotion can combine a customer's deposit, restricted bonus funds and winnings from different play. A single account number may make those categories look interchangeable. Before opting in, identify which money can be withdrawn, what play restrictions attach to the bonus and what happens if the offer is cancelled.
The Commission's consumer guide says operators should distinguish a player's own money from restricted bonus funds, make play restrictions clear and allow a customer to walk away with the remaining deposit and winnings earned from deposit play. The public source establishes this starting point; its date and scope belong beside the specific decision in the promotion balance map.
List each balance category
Deposit principal, cash winnings, bonus credit and unsettled stakes may follow different terms. Copy the current balance breakdown and the relevant term's version and access date. Write down the player's own deposit, cash winnings, restricted credit and unsettled stakes as distinct categories. A large combined total can mask what is withdrawable.
Do not call a combined displayed amount immediately withdrawable without a balance breakdown. Use the offer's current balance explanation rather than assuming every displayed unit is ordinary cash. Keep screenshots with their access time.
Read wagering and stake restrictions
An offer may define eligible games, maximum stake, time window or wagering requirement. Translate each condition into a plain-language example before using the bonus. Translate wagering requirements, eligible games, stake caps and expiry into a small example using the offer's actual stated numbers. Read the exclusions before opting in.
A headline percentage or 'free' label does not replace these material restrictions. A headline promising free play may omit conditions that materially change the cost. Declining the offer is safer than guessing at an ambiguous rule.
Trace what happens on cancellation
Leaving a promotion can change restricted funds while leaving a customer's own money subject to different rights. Find the cancellation rule and ask for clarification through an authenticated channel if the categories remain unclear. Find what cancellation does to restricted credit and what remains of the player's own deposit and deposit-funded winnings. Note the exact term version.
Do not keep playing merely because the interface warns that a bonus will be forfeited. Do not keep playing merely because a screen warns of a forfeited bonus. A clear choice to leave can be preferable to extending exposure.
Test the withdrawal path without more play
Withdrawal eligibility can be confused with a promotional progress bar. Check the withdrawal page, identity requirements and transaction history before raising a focused question. Compare the withdrawal page, transaction ledger and bonus progress indicator as separate information sources. Save an error message verbatim if they conflict.
Never make a new deposit solely to unlock an existing balance without independently verified terms. A progress animation is not a legal or financial explanation. Ask a bounded question about the specific balance through an authenticated route.
Preserve a dispute chronology
A changed interface or term can make later reconstruction difficult. Save dated offer terms, opt-in confirmation, balance snapshots and withdrawal messages. Keep the opt-in confirmation, dated terms, balance categories and withdrawal response in one chronology. Redact unrelated identity and payment entries before sharing.
Do not upload unrelated identity records or publish a full account statement on social media. A complaint should identify which term and amount are disputed. Publicly posting full statements creates privacy risk without resolving the balance classification.
Apply the Commission's consumer principles carefully
The guide supports clearer separation of own money, restricted bonus funds and play conditions. Reopen the named HTTPS page when applying the promotion balance map; an internal SignalBet guide is context, not the authority for a changing fact.
It governs relevant GB consumer context and cannot establish the terms or legality of an unrelated operator or a current promotion. Do not extend that source into a conclusion about an individual case it does not cover.
Declining an unclear offer is a complete decision
A balance map should make the cost of opting in understandable before money or time is committed. Recheck the disputed item in the promotion balance map before a consequential action and retain the dated answer.
Try a balance map before accepting any promotion. Make four rows: money deposited by the customer, winnings from that money, restricted bonus credit, and stakes still unsettled. For each, copy the relevant term, available action and displayed account status. Add the offer's stake ceiling, eligible games, wagering rule and expiry separately. If a cancellation dialog warns that credit will vanish, compare that warning with the treatment of the customer's own deposit rather than continuing play from fear of forfeiture. A withdrawal question should cite the exact balance row and term version. No current SignalBet offer is implied by this example; availability and conditions must come from the actual authenticated service. It is reasonable to skip a promotion whose restrictions cannot be explained in plain language.
- A displayed total can combine cash belonging to the player and restricted credit.
- A promotional maximum stake may differ from the ordinary game maximum.
- A cancellation warning should not pressure someone into unwanted extra play.
- The withdrawal ledger is better evidence than a promotional progress animation.
- Dated terms and balance snapshots are useful without publishing full statements.
Do not extend a session to satisfy wagering terms after your time or money boundary is reached. Adults 18+ must also meet local legal-age rules. Gambling is optional entertainment, not income or debt recovery. Protect essential money, set time and spending limits, never borrow or chase losses, and use the responsible-play centre for a break, blocking, exclusion or support.
